We are excited to announce the next chapter of growth for Pike Road Intermediate School! Through our continued partnership with the Town of Pike Road, we are happy to share a few of our preliminary renderings.
This announcement builds directly on the momentum of our recently completed project! Just last week, PRIS students stepped into their new cafeteria eating space for the first time. Constructed in the former gymnasium building, this newly converted space also includes six new classrooms and four renovated classrooms for our 5th-grade students. These upgrades mark an exciting step in our ongoing campus transformation.
To allow construction to start as soon as possible, we are planning to transition our 6th-grade students to the Georgia Washington (GW) campus in January, creating a dedicated true middle school experience for our students!
Stay tuned for more details in the coming months. Great things are happening in Pike Road!
*Conceptual renderings shown; final design details are subject to change during construction.

Here is a detailed, accessible alt text draft based on the graphic in your image: Alt Text: Image outlining Pike Road Schools' bus transportation details and safety reminders for the start of the school year. Top Section - Here Comes The Bus App: Text explains that parents can track their child's bus location using the "Here Comes The Bus Parent App" (herecomesthebus.com) using School Code 28868. Includes a QR code to download the app and a red bus marker icon. Bottom Left - Safety Tips: Students should wait for the bus on the sidewalk or shoulder, at least 10 feet away from the road. Level Up. Leave a Legacy.

Great schools are built by great leaders, and today we proudly celebrated our newly hired 2026 Pike Road Middle School & Pike Road High School Lead Learners—the educators who are committed to serving others, inspiring excellence, and making a lasting impact on every learner who walks through our doors.

As we embrace this year's themes of Level Up at Pike Road Middle School and Leave a Legacy at Pike Road High School, we are reminded that lasting legacies begin when leaders choose to grow, serve, and elevate those around them. Our Lead Learners embody that commitment every single day.

A special thank you to the Pike Road Town Council for sponsoring our Lead Learner jerseys and to Councilman Marcus Robinson for joining us as we recognized this outstanding team. We are grateful for our continued partnership and for a community that believes in investing in the educators who shape the future.

Here's to a year of leveling up and leaving a legacy—together.

CPR training today… because caring for our learners goes beyond the classroom. ❤️ Today, our GW faculty completed CPR training led by our outstanding Health Science teachers, Mrs. Joiner and Mrs. Rhodes. Their expertise and hands-on instruction helped equip our team with lifesaving skills that could make all the difference in an emergency. We’re grateful for educators who not only teach these essential skills but also help ensure our school remains a safe, prepared, and caring environment for every learner. Thank you, Mrs. Joiner and Mrs. Rhodes, for investing in our faculty and helping us be ready to serve when it matters most!

The first day of school is more than just a welcome back—it matters! ❤️💙

From meeting teachers and classmates to learning new routines, receiving important information, and jumping right into instruction, Day One sets the tone for a successful school year.

Our Day One is Thursday, August 6!

Help your Patriot start strong by making plans now to be present and on time from the very first day!

📚 Every Day. Every Learner. Every Opportunity.
#AttendanceMatters #PatriotLearning

Pike Road Schools “Attendance Matters” infographic explaining why attending the first day of school is important. The graphic notes that first-day attendance confirms a student’s seat, begins learning and classroom routines, helps students build relationships with teachers and classmates, provides important schedules and school information, and supports a strong start to the year. It also encourages families to plan ahead by scheduling appointments outside school hours, preparing supplies and transportation, establishing bedtime and morning routines, and arriving on time and ready to learn.
Our newest Patriots kicked off their middle school journey by Jumping Into Junior High! From team-building activities and peer panels to breakout sessions and campus connections, our learners spent yesterday morning building confidence, making new friends, and getting ready for an amazing year ahead.

This year at Pike Road Middle School, our theme is Level Up! 📈

Yesterday was the first step as our learners embraced new challenges, discovered new opportunities, and prepared to take their learning—and themselves—to the next level.

We're so excited to watch each of you grow, lead, and Level Up throughout the year!

Welcome to the Patriot family! ❤️🤍💙
