Our Health Science students recently competed in the Alabama HOSA competition and achieved outstanding results! We had a group that placed first and second in public health, as well as third in public service announcement. Their hard work and dedication have earned them the opportunity to represent our school and state at the HOSA International Leadership Conference, where they will compete against students from all over the world.
To support our students on this exciting journey, please consider purchasing a Boston Butt from them. Your contribution will help them attend the conference in Texas.
Thank you for your support!

Parents,
It is almost time for PRS re-enrollment! Each year, PRS requires parents to enroll their students for the following school year. Monday, March 18, parents will receive an email with their child's "snap code" (link to their specific re-enrollment page). This email is only sent to ONE guardian. If you do not see the email in your inbox, or SPAM folders, please ask another guardian if they received it. The email should come from "enrollment@pikeroadschools.org via regmail.powerschool.com". Please see the graphic for a list of what you will need to enroll your child. All enrollment is completed digitally. Again, this is re-enrollment for students currently in PreK -11th grade.
New Family registration will be at a later date.

In this edition of the Pike Road Recap, see how some C6 students took learning to a new level at Dauphin Island Sea Lab, see eight pieces of artwork that will be representing PRS in Dothan and one piece that will be on display in Washington DC, and read about how students across the entire district celebrated Black History Month.

Learners in Mrs. Bailey's APUSH classes are gearing up for their exam by practicing argumentation through a 1920s argumentation tournament. Each group was given a specific innovation/technology and their goal was to argue why theirs was the most impactful during the 1920s (and today) in a minute and a half. After each round, learners voted for which they felt was the most impactful. Winners advanced and had to argue again, this time with only thirty seconds. Winners were announced after each round and are posted on the bracket. The number in front of the innovation reflects the class period.

Thank you Pike Road and Montgomery County residents for allowing our schools to keep moving forward!

Thank you County Commissioner Doug Singleton for supporting Pike Road Jr. High School!
